Tania Freeman, Business Development Officer at Lewis Thomason in Nashville, has been named to the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Future Readiness Advisory Council. She will serve a 2-year term that will begin during the ALA’s 2025 Annual Conference in May.
Freeman has been an active member of ALA for 13 years. ALA members are responsible for several vital roles within their law firms, from human resources and operations to marketing and finance. Founded in 1971, ALA exists to support, educate, and create a community for these professionals. The Future Readiness Advisory Council researches, monitors, projects, and alerts the ALA board of directors, staff, and other volunteer groups to new developments, ideas, and future trends impacting the legal industry and the Association to help members with their professional growth and position ALA as a leading voice in the legal industry.
At Lewis Thomason, Freeman is responsible for developing and instituting the strategic direction, business development, and marketing initiatives of the firm. She creates marketing initiatives to enhance professional awareness and drive practice group-and industry-driven strategies.
She is a past president, vice president, and former secretary of Middle Tennessee ALA. Freeman is a member of the Legal Marketing Association. She attended Clayton College and State University in Morrow, Georgia. She is a former member of the board of the Brookstone HOA as a member-at-large and is active in her church.
