Memphis Office Hosts Business Law Section for a CLE Presentation

On June 20th Lewis Thomason hosted the Memphis Bar Association’s Business Law Section for a CLE presentation. Shareholder Justin Joy is a Director of the Business Law Section. Justin regularly represents businesses and individuals in a variety of litigation matters including business torts and commercial disputes. In addition, he frequently advises business clients regarding a range of governance, operational and strategic matters.

Caroline Montoya, an associate in Lewis Thomason’s Memphis office, presented a 2024 business case law update during the program. Caroline is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi and is a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee. She pursued her legal studies at American University Washington College of Law, earning her degree in 2023. During her time at law school, Caroline’s commitment to the field of law and advocacy led her to become a member of the Administrative Law Review. She also served as a Student Attorney in the Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she passionately represented clients in various housing and employment matters.
