Brad Craig, a shareholder in Lewis Thomason’s Nashville, office spoke to the University of Tennessee’s Educational Leadership Fellows class about the legislative process in Tennessee recently. The Leadership Academy is an intensive 15-month residency fellowship that prepares high potential aspiring principals for the rigors of instructional leadership in the modern educational context. Mr. Craig focuses his practice on general civil litigation defense, employment law, and education law. He also regularly counsels boards of education on a variety of issues, including employee discipline and termination, student discipline, and special education, and his practice includes defending public entities and private businesses before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office for Civil Rights, and the Tennessee Human Rights Commission.
