Caroline Montoya is an associate at Lewis Thomason’s Memphis office. She is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi. She is a proud native of Memphis, Tennessee, but her journey led her to the nation’s capital for her legal education. She pursued her legal studies at American University Washington College of Law, earning her degree in 2023. During her time at law school, Caroline’s commitment to the field of law and advocacy led her to become a member of the Administrative Law Review. She also served as a Student Attorney in the Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she passionately represented clients in various housing and employment matters. Caroline’s greatest desire is to use her legal skills and every opportunity as a lawyer to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Before beginning her legal career, Caroline resided in California, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University in 2020. Beyond her professional life, Caroline finds joy in running and exploring new places through travel.
