REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Negotiated owner-architect agreements on behalf of architect clients for large projects that feature prominently in Nashville’s overall development, including:

  • Mixed-use development at the Fairgrounds around the new Nashville SC soccer stadium.
  • High-rise building on Church St. in downtown Nashville.
  • Mixed-use and adaptive reuse of historic structure on downtown Nashville’s riverfront.
  • High-profile entertainment venue located on Broadway in Nashville.

Obtained judgment or favorable resolution for large homeowners’ association clients on various matters involving leasing restriction violations, violations of property conditions, covenants, and restrictions, and collection.

After our firm obtained i) dismissal of claims of negligent construction and breach of warranty related to new construction and ii) affirmation by the Court of Appeals of summary judgment in favor of our client related to the purchase and sale of the subject property, obtained an approximately $250,000 summary judgment, including attorneys’ fees and expenses, on our contractor client’s counterclaims arising out of actions taken by homeowners affecting the sale of neighboring property.
