Ariane Sowa Hookman Certified a Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator

Ariane Sowa Hookman has been certified a Supreme Court Rule 31 Mediator for Family Cases, Specially Trained in Domestic Violence. To become certified as a mediator in family cases, in addition to the Rule 31 mediation training there is an additional curriculum as well as training in screening for and dealing with domestic violence in the mediation context. Hookman received a designation of “Specialty Trained in Domestic Violence” due to her substantial work and experience in matters involving domestic violence.

Hookman, an associate in the firm’s Knoxville office,focuses her practice primarily on domestic relations, as well as construction, corporate law, and general civil litigation. She is skilled at helping clients articulate their litigation objectives and has a successful track record of favorable outcomes.

Hookman is a Member of the Hamilton Burnette Inns of Court and a member of the Knoxville Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association.
