Lewis Thomason was a proud sponsor of the UT Law Women’s 19th Annual Chili Cook-Off recently held at the University of Tennessee College of Law. The Cook-Off raises funds for the Law Women Commitment Award and Public Interest Scholarships for UT Law students. The UT Law Executive Board will be able to award three Public Interest Scholarships to their members thanks to raising over $6,700 through the Cook-Off this year. These scholarships will allow three law students to pursue unpaid public interest work next summer with reduced financial burdens, while the Commitment Award will help a Law Women member offset academic expenses such as textbooks and living expenses.
