This week Chris McCarty participated in “From the Board Room to the Courtroom: Preparing for and Trying Employment Law Cases Before a Jury” co-sponsored by the Knoxville Bar Association Employment Law Section. Chris presented the Defense side of the case and walked attendees through strategies to consider when presenting employment law matters before juries in state or federal court. Chris, a shareholder in our Knoxville office, practices in the areas of employment law, education law and civil litigation. He is also a trained arbitrator, and is listed as a Rule 31 mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. Mr. McCarty frequently presents on employment law topics.
