Memphis TN – Andrea Malkin, managing shareholder in Lewis Thomason’s Memphis office, has been recognized as one of Memphis Business Journal’s Women Who Lead in Law.
The Memphis Business Journal’s editorial team chose women who have qualities that define leadership – from pushing through challenges and moving legal precedent forward in difficult times to career-altering decision-making. As managing shareholder and an operations leader of Lewis Thomason’s Memphis office, Malkin oversees a 70-plus employee law office of lawyers, paralegals, and other staffers. Malkin’s practice focuses primarily in civil litigation for health care where she represents physicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners in liability claims.
In addition to her many professional accomplishments, Malkin is a member of the Board of Directors of of Memphis Bar Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Trial Court Vacancy Commission. She serves on the Memphis Bar Association committee on Diversity and on the Memphis Bar Association committee on Judicial Practice and Procedure. Malkin has been selected by American Lawyer Media and Corporate Counsel as a Woman Leader in The Law and named to Best Lawyers® in America and Mid-South Super Lawyers.
